About Me

Hey there, I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Deanna, a softball mom, girlfriend, coffee enthusiast, sunset gazer, a wanna be horticulturist and lifelong learner on a journey of healing, growth, and connection. By day, I work in student discipline at a junior high—supporting teens through some of their most formative (and sometimes toughest) years. It’s challenging, rewarding, and has deepened my passion for mental health and community care.

I’m currently pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW), with plans to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This path feels like a natural extension of my life’s work: holding space for others while continuing to heal myself.

When I’m not working or studying, you’ll find me curled up with a good book, experimenting in the kitchen, sipping strong coffee, or painting to clear my mind. Creativity and quiet moments are my therapy.

I live in the heart of the Midwest with my daughter and the love of my life. Our home is filled with laughter, learning, lots of love but also arguments, chaos and hard moments. I’ve done a lot of healing—but I know there’s still more to do. This space is where I share that journey, in all its messy, beautiful, and honest moments.

Whether you’re here for inspiration, solidarity, or just a cozy corner of the internet, WELCOME!
I’m so happy you stopped by.
